Ontario Proud Launches #StopSaudiOil Campaign

Canada currently imports $300 million of Saudi oil every month. Saudi Arabia uses this money to finance misogyny, homophobia and attacks on journalists.

Importing Saudi oil is not only morally wrong, it makes no sense when Canada has its own energy resources.

Ontario Proud’s campaign has been extremely well received by the public. Ontario Proud’s #StopSaudiOil video has been viewed more than 1.1 million times on Facebook and has over 27,000 shares. The campaign has also generated 80,000 views on YouTube and counting.

Ontario Proud will soon launch radio ads, along with other promotional efforts, in support of the #StopSaudiOil campaign.
